THE WINERY
History Timeline
Our winery was founded in 1992, with the vision to produce wines of unique character and premium quality.
The estate is located on the slopes of Kalo Chorio Orinis in the Nicosia district, 28 km southwest of the capital. The winery, which is unique in architectural style, is a two-level structure that includes modern winemaking facilities, an underground cellar for barrel and bottle aging, as well as a tasting and reception hall. The winery is surrounded by a three hectare vineyard, planted with the indigenous grape variety Morokanella. All our vineyards are managed with extra care using environmentally friendly farming practices.
The winery’s retail store offers for sale our wines, wine accessories, as well as, a carefully sourced selection of traditional food products

Discover Our Wines… Be Part of Our History
Aes Ambelis winery is open for public visits and tastings all year round. Our guests have the opportunity to taste our wines in our purposely built tasting hall that overlooks on the one side the barrel ageing cellar and on the other side the beautiful Pitsilia mountains. Furthermore, visitors can arrange to take our winery tour that follows the wine-making process from grape to glass. During the tour, they can explore our vineyards as well as the inner workings of winery including fermentation and barrel ageing.

Η ΟΙΝΟΤΕΧΝΙΑ ΑΗΣ ΑΜΠΕΛΗΣ ΛΤΔ έχει τύχει χρηματοδότησης από την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή και συγκεκριμένα από το Ευρωπαϊκό Γεωργικό Ταμείο Εγγυήσεων στα πλαίσια του Στρατηγικού Σχεδίου Κοινής Αγροτικής Πολιτικής 2023 – 2027. Η επένδυση καλύπτει τεχνολογική αναβάθμιση και επέκταση του οινοποιείου, που περιλαμβάνει εξοπλισμό επεξεργασίας και υποδομές οινοποιίας.
Στόχος των νέων επενδύσεων είναι η τεχνολογική αναβάθμιση της μονάδας, η επέκταση της δυναμικότητας, η βελτίωση της ποιότητας και η ενίσχυση της ανταγωνιστικής της θέσης.
